Thanks to the popularity of YouTube and social media, Sands Beer is making its video debut all around the world.

Featured in an online video 'Knee Deep in The Bahamas' produced by a Caribbean and island lifestyle blogger named Ryan, Sands is the open image of the three minute video showing off the beauty of The Bahamas. Ryan visits different Caribbean Islands and takes photographs, videos, and notes on all of the islands while he is travelling. The video that features SANDS was of his stay on the island of Exuma and its surrounding cays. Ryan decided to portray his experience in a video, with the background music of the Zac Brown Band, featuring Jimmy Buffet for their song "Knee Deep".

As a result of the popularity of his blog, which is connected to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest, the video has received a over eight million views. "I was thrilled when I saw the video," said brewery owner James 'Jimmy' Sands. "My son showed me the post and there was my beer featured in the opening shot!"

Sands who started his company in 2007 has seen it grow from a one beer line to over six products sold all over The Bahamas with plans to sell in the USA later this year. This latest success is now featured on his company's website and Facebook page. "The continued success of our products has been wonderful to watch," he added. "This video just proves how our product - which is truly Bahamian - has integrated with the culture of The Bahamas. I could not be prouder."

Bahamian Brewery and Beverage Co. production is in Grand Bahama and the company recently opened its New Providence distribution warehouse, retail and office complex on Nassau Street.

Grand Bahama's "Truly Bahamian" brewery opened in 2007 with the launch of its first beer SANDS. The 20-acre brewery is located at the intersection of Queen's Highway and Grand Bahama Way and is a 100% Bahamian owned business. The brewery also produces Triple B, a natural malt drink, sold via Asa H Pritchard Distributors, as well as STRONG BACK, SANDS LIGHT, HIGH ROCK and BUSH CRACK. Bahamian Brewery and Beverage currently employs just over 60 staff and expanded its operation into Nassau in 2008, opening a capital-based distribution centre at Kelly's Liquor Store on Wulff Road.
