Bahamian Brewery’s General Manager, Gary Sands said “We wanted to create another light beer because we felt the market needed some more options in this category. We picked Bush Crack because it’s already an established brand in the market that our customers love, and we wanted to expand on that base.”

Launched the same week that Hurricane Nicole brushed through Grand Bahama & Abaco, Bush Crack Light has the same strength and resilience as the brewery it was produced. BCL is the first new Bahamian Brewery product since the brewery was rebuilt after Hurricane Dorian. Gary Sands expressed “We had plans for Bush Crack Light in 2019. This product has been in the works for quite some time but Hurricane Dorian was a major setback with the immediate follow-up of Covid which restricted us in a major way in launching our core brands Sands and Sands Light.”

Last week BCL held a simultaneous broadcast in Nassau and Freeport from the Brewery, to introduce the new product to the Bahamas and to introduce Bush Crack Light Thirsty Thursdays at Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits for the next three months. Local Radio Celebrities JJ, Erin Reign, Special K, Kirk Smith, and Daddy Steelie all came out to support the launch of the new light beer.
The Bush Crack Light team will be hitting the road with FREE sampling during BCL Thirsty Thursdays ending with more sampling at a Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits location.
